The actual sales process will naturally be orientated to support the chosen distribution platforms and the timing for each stage of the managed marketing plan (the plan will normally have many parts and often one part of the plan will not be operational whilst another is in train). The sales plan will work in complete harmony with all aspects of the marketing and distribution plans and will be appropriately resourced, monitored and reported.
